A Sunset Beach Session

It’s no secret that shooting at sunset is my favorite time of day, and adding the beach to that just makes it that much better! This is my niece, Kenyon, and as you can see, she’s beautiful! We spent a week at the beach last month and on the prettiest evening of the week we made time for some quick portraits. The beach was still pretty crowded at the time we went down to shoot, so we worked around people and then moved across the street to the parking garage. Parking garages aren’t always photogenic but I had been watching the light hit the top of this one for a few evenings and I knew it could work well for some portraits. We first went up top to get the beautiful light as the sun was setting and then moved down a few levels to take some more creative portraits. Kenyon’s such a great model, I can’t pick a favorite but scroll through to see some of her best shots!
