a patriotic prom shoot

Prom in August, this was a new one for me!

By now, if you’ve followed by blog for any time you’ve probably seen Nicole and Charlie’s portraits before! (We most recently shot their cap and gown portraits here!) I’ve never shot a prom session after graduation but it is 2020 so here we are! Nicole and Charlie looked so good together in their navy and red. Of course, Charlie had an American flag bowtie and I absolutely loved it, if you know Charlie, this was no surprise! To match Charlie’s bowtie, Nicole had her American flag Crocs!

We took photos at a park and it was so hot but they both just smiled through the heat and entertained all of my ideas. It was hard for me to narrow down because I loved them all!
